Dr. Tran obtained her M.D. degree from University of Kansas Medical School. She completed her Internal Medicine internship and residency at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, TX. She completed Transplant Hepatology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX and subsequently completed Gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. Dr. Tran is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Tran has an active practice of patients with liver and digestive disease. Her clinical interests revolve around the optimal management of patients with chronic viral hepatitis B & C, Fatty liver, liver tumors, cirrhosis, advanced liver disease, liver cancer and liver transplantation. She is an active member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease and the American College of Gastroenterology.
